You guys know how much I love big legged, stout made, productive breeding stock that come from a reputable firm! We can’t express how highly we think of Kilmer’s and the impressive hogs that come out of their herd! So it was a logical decision to bring their Class Winning Boar home from the 2021 NSR Exposition. New Day is an absolute beast. His foot and bone is tremendous, with a stout forearm, wide chest, and plenty of rib shape and volume in his center 1/3. From behind, he stands on a ton of pipe with a stout upper hip and power from behind. Many times when we take this much power, we have to sacrifice design and attractive look, but that is not the case here. New Day balances up from the profile, with plenty of length to his neck and face. Use this guy confidently. We are ready for a NEW DAY and tackling some big goals in the Duroc ring!
