The Champion and $27,000 High selling Boar at the 2017 SWTC

Wow, we are blessed to have been able to bring this super sire home to Southern Gold. I want to thank my friend Brice Conover for letting this happen. Walks Alone was the Champion and $27,000 High Selling boar at the 2017 SWTC. I heard many say (and I was one of them) that this was the best Berkshire they had ever seen. Brice bought him and took him home and did not offer any semen for sale other than a couple of featured online sales where it brought between $325 and $450 a dose. We really want to up our game in this Berkshire deal and I think this guy put it over-the-top! In his very first pig crop he sired Castaway, our other new Berkshire boar. Walks Alone was not only impressive at the show but he is even more impressive as a mature boar. Visitors are amazed at how good he still looks and how good he is on his feet and legs. We are extremely pleased to be able to offer semen out of this guy for the very first time to the public. Pictures do not do this guy justice! He is a big-time boar!
