I want to thank Levi and the crew at Winner‘s Circle Showpigs for giving us a chance to bring this genetic giant back to Indiana. This would be the first of our three Yorkshire boar purchases of the year. We had a goal this year to bring home the best Yorkshire boars from the best gilts from the 2019 show season. Savage had us starting off strong with our purchases. Savage’s mother was a champion Yorkshire at the 2019 OYE. His grandmother was a $9000 OYE gilt and a littermate to Divergent. His grand dam was a $17,000 OYE purchase. Savage is a little different than the normal Yorkshire. He is one powerful rascal! He is a big-legged, short-sided, big-topped, wide-skulled, heavy duty type of boar. This guy should be used on those females that need to be shortened up, made thicker, and that need to be powered up. Another awesome pedigree that will breed on.
